If you live in a big city, urban decay is a natural phenomena you’ve probably witnessed on numerous occasions. Myo is an artist based out of Saint Petersburg, Russia, who has an ingenious approach to patching up pieces of urban decay in the cities she visits. Instead of seeing a mere crack on a wall, Myo sees opportunity, hidden worlds, and the potential for beauty.
As Myo puts it, “blots and holes are the creatures.” Not only do her works bring joy, they also shine a light on the otherwise ignored disrepair that too many cities seem to have fallen into of late.
